Calgary Social Capital Society
Creating a movable feast to benefit community
The Calgary Social Capital Society was founded in 2017 by philanthropist Arthur C Clark in Calgary Alberta. The intention for the society is two fold- the ultimate goal of uniting all citizens into global peace and the baby step process of providing social networking events and no interest loans for social and personal projects.
Creating a Movable Feast
More than a phrase, creating a movable feast implies an intention. Originally featuring one location and 3 or 4 participants, our movable feast has metamorphosed from it's humble beginnings into a social evening twice a week and now in a weekly Zoom dialogue. During the 2 hour event, participants swap stories and experiences, come together with creative thought exercises and share a little about themselves. With creativity as the focus and friends as the side effect, it is a casual outing for many members and an excellent way to learn about your neighbours and their experiences.
