“Skate to where the puck is going to be.”

- Wayne Gretsky

If you were to visit an exhibit of the works of Picasso, each one would represent not only a certain amount of that artist’s time and energy, but also how he focussed his imagination when he did each of the works.

In my mind, each day of my life is like a blank canvas on which (each day) I compose a work of art – the focus of my imagination, my energy, and my time that day. I imagine an exhibit of my greatest works (my most creative days) that will take place many years hence. (And even the messy days can be creative.) This way of thinking helps me understand the value of each new day and think about the significance of this very day, the effect it will have in the future.

I had already sent an email about last Tuesday at Kawa, but wanted to summarize our menu of possibilities for something to do on just one day in June, in addition to the “Tuesdays at Kawa.” If you lookat the menu, then imagine what you’d like to add to the menu, then we’ll have an even richer set of options to choose from at our first Tuesday in June.

Also this coming Thursday in Cochrane, Michael and Judie Bopp will again host a discussion circle at that coffee shop we've visited (carpooling) a couple of times before. I plan to drive there this coming Thursday evening, so let me know if you'd like to go.
