Tuesday September 18 we’ll be at Second Cup in Kensington / Sunnyside, and Wednesday September 19 at Vendome. The dialogues start at 6 PM.

Tuesday we’ll envision global community and build our skill at asking good questions. It’s an essential skill not just for research scientists but also for global citizens. Also I will share some unbelievably good news I received last week.

For Wednesday pick a topic and tell us about it in five minutes. That’s rat school.

Last week – what a week! On Tuesday we launched our Global Vision Moment exercise. The book share was Katherine Ellison’s The Mommy Brain: How Motherhood Makes Us Smarter. On Wednesday we did rat school with topics as diverse as neuroplasticity; abandoning the finger pointing at “others”; and stories from the maelstrom in Syria shared by two participants who are Syrian newcomers.

On Saturday we did our September excursion, visiting tiny houses at the Grow Calgary Farm. This Tuesday we’ll start developing our menu of options for October.
