Tuesday September 25 we’ll be at Second Cup in Kensington / Sunnyside, and Wednesday September 26 at Vendome. The dialogues start at 6 PM.
Tuesday we’ll take a quick glance at a possible future for those who come after us on planet Earth (our weekly Global Vision Moment) and from then on we’ll improvise, taking the dialogue along whatever path you want to follow.
For Wednesday pick a topic and tell us about it in five minutes.
Last week on Tuesday after taking a quick look at a possible future, our improvisation included some ideas from John Ashbery on a fresh approach to writing poetry. We began developing our menu of options for an excursion in October. A surprisingly fruitful part of the evening was just a few minutes of listening emphatically to what participants were finding stressful in their lives these days.
The experience with empathetic listening on Tuesday led me to devote some attention to “Empathy and Social Transformation,” which became my topic for Wednesday at Vendome.
Drop in on our moveable feast any Tuesday or Wednesday.
Arthur
