Tuesday October 2 we’ll be at Second Cup in Kensington / Sunnyside, and Wednesday October 3 at Vendome. The dialogues start at 6 PM.

The Finals of the Social Transformation Tournament yesterday (Saturday) were the best yet. Our Tournament Score this year was ten points higher than last year. All the presentations were good, but one in particular raised the bar for what I have to accomplish in the year ahead. It was that final presentation, which Ava and Aishwarya did together. They made me think outside the box about the possibilities for our café dialogues. I’ll say more about that on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The book share this past week was Yuval Noah Harari’s 21 Lessons for the 21st Century. On Wednesday there were fourteen participants including Lucas (from Spain) and Barbara (from Czech Republic). All the contributions were wonderful. Brian Seaman’s account of Grace O’Malley (1530-1603) was my personal favourite.

We may be on the first leg of a whole new journey.

Arthur
