“If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn’t brood, I’d type a little faster.” - Isaac Asimov
There are only a few hours to live before Zoe facilitates our story-writing workshop. It’s tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13, at the Central Library. She has booked Room 3-10A for 6:00 to 7:30 PM. My mobile phone number is 403-200-2261, in case you need to call me as the time for the workshop approaches. Zoe’s is 1-403-820-6693.
Your short story might become material for a short film, such as this one, “Coffee to Go,” about lost love and letting go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88CD7kqzAcw
Alternatively, to practice your writing, you could use that film as the take-off point for writing a short story, keeping in mind that your written version of the film can accomplish things the film has not accomplished. You’re not copying the film; you are transforming it.
Imagine that!
Toot sweet,
Arthur
