“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” - Winston Churchill

You already have the synopsis of the book Creativity: A Short and Cheerful Guide by John Cleese, as well as a mission (should you choose to accept it) to come up with ideas for three projects we might do to change the course of history. It occurred to me that you might prefer to write a screenplay for a movie. Okay. Imagine that Warner Brothers or some other big movie studio has called you and asked you for a screenplay they will make into a movie. They will pay you for your effort, and whatever you want to send them is fine with them. How would you get started? How would you come up with the idea? Whatever you decide to create, it will go to the movie studio and they have all the resources to make it into a great movie, and it will debut in theaters just as the pandemic is coming to an end. You just have to imagine. (John Cleese can help.)

I have been reading Michelle Obama’s autobiography Becoming and have the strange feeling that I am becoming smarter as I read it, in a way I have not felt with other books. Maybe it’s because I rarely read biography or autobiography and this one is brilliantly written. Whatever the reason, I wanted to suggest you try it yourself and share your experience. It’s a #1 New York Times bestseller, available in bookstores now. It will be a couple of weeks before I finish and send you a synopsis. (My synopsis next week will be of the book by John Gottman, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.)

Here’s the link for tomorrow night, Wednesday September 30 starting at 6:30 PM

… It’s our dialogue to enhance our creativity, so let’s boogie!
