“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” - Jane Goodall “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” - Amelia Earhart Our group genius was substantially enriched last night. As our theme for the month of March, we chose Personal Growth, and connected it to concepts like expansion and personal insight (deeper understanding of who we are and our relationships to the world around us). Zenia had suggested this theme and has also volunteered to facilitate a dialogue on Wednesday March 31. Tomorrow, Friday March 5, at 8:30 AM, is the memorial service for Jorg Ostrowski. For those of you who would like to send something to Helen by Canada Post, she has provided her mailing address: (Contact if desired) You will have received the link to the memorial service previously, but here it is again, with related instructions: A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 8:30 am, link: www.OLPH.ca, then click livestream (ONLY virtual presence for me & others). Our creative dialogue calendar for March has me facilitating our dialogue on Wednesday March 10; Judy Johnson on March 17; Chantal Chagnon on March 24, and Zenia on March 31. My topic on March 10 will be antiracism and related issues, which I’ll connect with the theme of the month. I’ll provide a synopsis of How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OXMgA0Fwsk and I’ll acknowledge ahead of time that the book will require some personal growth on my part both before and after I send you my synopsis. So it will be extra easy to relate to our theme of the month. Amor fati, folks. Que sera, sera. Arthur
